I am a photographic artist based in Bendigo, Victoria.
I use my photographic art in a variety of mixed media to achieve my final outcomes.
The outcomes of my work include but are not limited to scarves and shawls; one off art books; Giclee photographs and miniature scale art pieces using 1/12th dolls house scale.
My arts practice has been heavily influenced by my love of the natural world and family life.
The last few years has seen me concentrate on local wildflowers near my home in regional Victoria. My aim is to encourage people to research their own local wildflowers for their gardens, especially for the challenging-hard-to-manage-parts. Local native plants that have survived years of varying climates are a good choice.
Highlighting the beauty of nature, found near my home where I go on regular bush walks, is seen in the image I submitted for the #EverydayClimateCrisis. The eucalyptus and wattle are located in one of several bush areas that have been left largely to its own devices here in regional Victoria.
It reminds us that all is not yet lost as we do have the natural world responding to positive human attitudes.
We just have to keep doing it and more!
