These images were captured during the drought of January, 2020, during the bushfire crisis.
Just up from my home, what is normally a green bushy haven for birds, waterbirds and the occasional kangaroo became a brown desert; the dam water fully evaporated, leaving only a muddy sludge for this lone swamp hen.
