Title: In the big smoke
Artist statement: This was taken as the devastating bushfires burnt out of
control across the country. Even in the inner city of Sydney there was no
denying how bad it was as we gasped for air. A silent protestor stands vigil
to all those passing by at Newtown train station.
About the photographer: Elisa Bond is Sydney based photographer living in
the inner west area since 1980.
